1. Wash grapes and break into small bunches. Discard any over-ripe or damaged grapes, and pack bunches into four wide mouthed 1-liter/4-cup jars or two 2-liter/8-cup jars.
2. Place vinegar, water, sugar, salt, cloves and cinnamon into a large saucepan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 minutes, set aside and cool to room temperature.
3. Pour liquid into each jar, making sure to fill to the top. Seal jars and set aside for 2 weeks at room temperature, then store in a cool place.
