Sunny Orange Granola
|Regular oats||2 Cup (32 tbs), uncooked|
|Wheat germ||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flaked coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sliced almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry roasted sunflower kernels||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped dates||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sesame seeds||2 Tablespoon|
|Grated orange rind||2 Teaspoon|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Frozen orange juice concentrate||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), thawed and undiluted|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Raisins||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl; mix well.
Combine remaining ingredients except raisins; pour over oats mixture, and mix well.
Spread mixture evenly in a lightly greased 15- x 10- x 1-inch jellyroll pan.
Bake at 300° for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
Add raisins, and mix well; cool.
Store granola in an airtight container.
