1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees C/ GAS MARK 4)
2 Lightly grease two baking trays.
3 Chop the almonds coarsely.
4 In a bowl, combine chopped almonds along with the rolled oats.
5 Stir in the honey, safflower oil and vanilla essence.
6 Mix well.
7 Over two prepared baking trays, thinly pread the mixture.
8 Bake for 20-€”25 minutes, turning occasionally, so that the oats are evenly browned.
9 Serve with milk and fresh or dried fruit.
10 Can be stored in sealed jars or containers for up to 1 month.
