Great Granola

Ingredients
  Oats 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Either Quick-Cooking / Old-Fashioned)
  Coarsely chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Preferably Almonds And/Or Filberts)
  Wheat germ 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Packed dark brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Honey 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Shredded coconut 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped apricots 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Raisins 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

1. Place oats in a 10-inch round baking dish. Microwave at Cook Cycle 1 (power level 10) for 4 minutes, stirring twice. Mix in nuts, wheat germ, and brown sugar. Stir in honey and vanilla. Microwave, uncovered, at Cook Cycle 2 (power level 10) for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring 3 times.
2. Add coconut, apricots, and raisins to cereal mixture. Stir occasionally as granola cools to break up. Store in a tightly lidded container.
