Sesame Granola With Wheat Germ
|Nonfat dry milk||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Uncooked oatmeal||3 Ounce|
|Wheat germ||1 Ounce|
|Flour||5 Teaspoon (1 Tablespoon Plus 2 Teaspoon)|
|Sesame seeds||2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Dried prunes||8 Medium, pitted and cut into small pieces|
|Vegetable oil||5 Teaspoon (1 Tablespoon Plus 2 Teaspoon)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Coconut extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Combine nonfat dry milk, oatmeal, wheat germ, flour, sesame seeds, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
In a small saucepan combine water and prunes.
Bring to boil; cook about 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in oil and extracts, if desired.
Combine with oatmeal mixture and spread in a 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake at 325°F.
for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Allow to cool and store in a tightly closed container in refrigerator.
