Diabetic.Foodie's picture
  Oatmeal 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Wheat germ 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sliced unsalted almonds 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Safflower oil 1 Teaspoon
  Molasses 2 Teaspoon
Unsweetened apple juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Mix the oatmeal, wheat germ, and almonds in a lasagna or jelly-roll pan.
Heat the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and stir to combine.
Drizzle this over the oatmeal mixture, then use a spatula to push the mixture around in the pan until evenly coated.
Bake in a 325°F (160°C) oven for about 30 minutes.
Then mix again and bake for 10 minutes.
The longer you cook it, the crunchier the granola gets.
