How to make Homemade Granola

Homemade granola is very easy to make. When you make it from scratch you can make it any way you like. Add in your favorite nuts, dried fruit, and you can come up with a delicious homemade granola that is so much cheaper to make than the store bought variety.

Ingredients

Coconut oil 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Maple syrup 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Brown sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Vanilla 3 Teaspoon
Almond extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Oatmeal 5 Cup (80 tbs)
Craisins 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Sliced almond 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Cooking spray 3 Dash

Directions

GETTING READY

1.  Preheat oven to 350F.

Spray a baking tray with cooking spray.

 

MAKING

2. In a mixing bowl place coconut oil, add maple syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, almond extract and salt, mix until the sugar disolves.

3. Add in the oatmeal, craisins and almond, mix until the granola is well coated. Spread in the prepared baking tray and press to get an even surface. 

4. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool. Once cold, serve in air tight container.

 

SERVING

5. Serve as breakfast with milk.
