|Seasoned rye crackers||8|
|Thin tomato slices||8 , peeled|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sharp cheese spread||5 Ounce (1 Jar / 2/3 Cup)|
|Chopped bacon||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cooked|
|Cayenne pepper||To Taste|
1. Preheat oven to 425° F before baking.
2. On an unbuttered cookie sheet, arrange rye cracker and top each with a slice of tomato. Prepare a cheese spread-onion-green pepper mixture and use it to top each sandwich. Spread in an even manner above tomato and cracker. Sprinkle a little paprika and cayenne pepper and top with bacon.
3. Bake for 8 to 9 minutes or till cheese melts and becomes mildly brown.
4. Serve hot.
