Ingredients
  Beef chuck 2 Pound, cubed
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Tomato sauce 8 Ounce (1 Can)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Paprika 1 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Bay leaves 2
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Hot cooked noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

In large saucepan brown beef in hot shortening.
Add next 8 ingredients, 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, till tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Remove bay leaves.
Skim off excess fat.
Blend flour with 1/4 cup cold water; stir into meat mixture.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 1 minute longer.
Serve over noodles.
