Baked Beef Goulash
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Blade steak||3 1⁄2 Pound, cut in 3/4 inch cubes|
|Onions||3 , sliced|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), smashed and chopped|
|Beef stock||4 Cup (64 tbs), heated|
|Caraway seeds||1 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 325 Â°F (160 Â°C).
Heat half of oil in ovenproof saute pan over medium heat. Add half of meat and sear well on all sides. Season with salt and pepper. Remove meat from pan and set aside. Add remaining oil to pan and repeat searing technique for remaining meat. Place all meat aside.
Add onions to hot pan and cook 8 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add paprika and garlic; mix well and cook 8 minutes over medium heat.
Return meat to saute pan. Sprinkle in flour and mix well. Cook 4 minutes over low heat. Add remaining ingredients and season; mix well. Bring to boil, cover and cook 3 hours in oven.
Serve with sour cream and boiled potatoes.
