Looking for a substitute for beef in your Goulash?Use chicken instead or any other white meat to make a classical goulash recipe.Trust me you will not say no to this.
Ingredients
  Cut up chicken 1
  Onions 3 Medium
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (per chicken)
  Chicken bouillon cubes 2
  Sour cream 4 Tablespoon
  Paprika 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Season the chicken & saute it till turns brown in a pan.When chicken is done,brown onions in a pan.Add chicken to these brown onions,add water,paprika & bouillon cubes.Cook chicken over low heat,till chicken becomes tender.
Take out chicken from the gravy & keep the gravy simmering over low heat for it to become thick.
Serve hot with rice,noodles or even bread of your choice.

Though,I agree,beef or red meat tastes better than the white meat in goulash preparation but to avoid the health hassles make your goulash with chicken instead.I like it with chicken & avoid using beef most of the times.
