Glen's Goulash Barbecue Style

  Lean ground beef 1 Pound
  Mushrooms 3⁄4 Pound, sliced
  Onions 2 Medium, chopped
  Green bell pepper 1 Medium, stemmed, seeded, and chopped
  Dried oregano leaves 1 Teaspoon
  Spaghetti 8 Ounce (Dry Ones)
  Tomato based barbecue sauce 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon

In a 5- to 6-quart pan over medium heat, stir ground beef often until browned and crumbly, about 15 minutes.
Discard all but 2 tablespoons fat.
Add mushrooms, onions, green pepper, and oregano; stir often until onion is limp, about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, bring about 4 quarts water to boiling on high heat in a 5- to 6-quart pan.
Add spaghetti and boil, uncovered, until tender-firm to bite, 10 to 12 minutes.
Drain pasta well and add to beef mixture along with barbecue sauce.
Stir and cook until hot.
Pour onto a platter and garnish with parsley.
