Stuffed Grouse

Ingredients
  Whole grouse 4 , skinned
  Tart green apples 2 , peeled and diced
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Currants 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whole wheat bread 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced
  Shelled pinion nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Simmer apples in water until soft.
Mix with remaining ingredients.
Stuff grouse and secure legs.
Brush with melted margarine and place in oven cooking bags, two birds to a bag.
Bake 350°F.for 2 hours.
