Sweet Chocolate Glaze
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|German sweet cooking chocolate squares||2 Ounce (2 Squares)|
|Vanilla||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
In a small saucepan combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
Stir in water and sweet cooking chocolate.
Cook and stir till chocolate is melted and mixture is thickened.
Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
Cover surface with clear plastic wrap or waxed paper.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes or till slightly cooled and of spreading consistency.
Spread the glaze over top and sides of cake.
Chill cake till set.
