Almond Glaze

Ingredients
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 3 Tablespoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Unsweetened chocolate 2 Ounce, broken in chunks
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Almond flavored liqueur 1 Tablespoon
Directions

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
Stir in water.
Add chocolate.
Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.
Remove from heat; stir in butter or margarine and liqueur.
Makes glaze for top of one 2-layer, 8- or 9-inch cake or torte.
