Orange Glazed Ribs
|Pork country style ribs||4 Pound|
|Grated orange peel/Tangerine peel||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice/Tangerine juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
Place ribs, meaty side down, in shallow roasting pan.
Roast at 450° for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare glaze.
Combine the orange peel and juice, light corn syrup, soy sauce, and ginger; mix thoroughly.
Remove ribs from oven; drain off excess fat.
Turn ribs meaty side up.
Reduce oven temperature to 350°; continue roasting for 30 minutes.
Roast 30 minutes more, brush frequently with half of the orange glaze.
Heat and pass remaining glaze.
Garnish with orange quarters, if desired.
