Peking Glaze

Ingredients
  Orange 1
  Light molasses 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Monosodium glutamate 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Bottled hot pepper sauce 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
Directions

Wash orange.
With sharp knife, finely sliver off orange peel to measure 2 tablespoons.
Squeeze orange and measure 1/2 cup juice.
In saucepan, combine all ingredients.
Bring to boiling; remove from heat.
Use as glaze for broiler-fryer chickens.
Baste chicken occasionally with glaze last 30 minutes of cooking time.
