Creamy Ginger Bread
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Molasses||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Sift together flour, baking soda, spices and salt.
Beat together sugar and butter.
Beat in egg.
Stir in milk and molasses.
Stir in dry ingredients until well blended.
Grease the bottom and sides of a 3 qt.glass casserole dish.
Grease the sides of a glass, 2-inches in diameter.
Invert glass in center of casserole dish.
Pour batter around glass in dish.
Microwave 6 to 7 minutes, giving dish a 1/4 turn every 2 minutes during cooking.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
