This ginger bread pudding is a special puding made with 3 spices and molasses. Prepared with added raisins and sourmilk, with flour, butter and eggs, the gingerbread pudding is steamed and served with brown sugar sauce.
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Molasses||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sour milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream butter, add sugar, molasses, egg.
Stir in raisins, dredged in 1/4 cup flour.
Add remaining dry ingredients and milk alternately.
Steam for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Serve with the brown sugar sauce.
