|All purpose flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Ground ginger||1 Tablespoon|
|Baking soda||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Currants||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), dried|
In mixing bowl cream butter and sugar together.
Add molasses and eggs; beat thoroughly.
Stir flour, ginger, and baking soda together.
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating after each addition.Stir in raisins and currants.
Turn into greased and lightly floured 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350° till done, 25 to 30 minutes.
