Spicy Gingerbread With Cinnamon Pear Sauce

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Packed light brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Light molasses 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Buttermilk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Cinnamon pear sauce 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Preheat oven to 325°F.
Grease and lightly flour 9-inch square baking pan.
Combine all ingredients except Cinnamon Pear Sauce in large bowl.
Beat with electric mixer at low speed until well blended, scraping side of bowl with rubber spatula frequently.
Beat at high speed 2 minutes more.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack about 30 minutes.
Cut into squares; serve warm with Cinnamon Pear Sauce.
