Glazed Winter Vegetables With Maple And Ginger
|Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped ginger root||15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)|
|Carrots||500 Gram, sliced on diagonal|
|Brussels sprouts||1 Pound, trimmed and halved (500 gram)|
|Maple syrup||25 Milliliter (2 tablespoons)|
|Homemade chicken stock/Water||250 Milliliter (1 cup)|
Heat oil in large non-stick skillet.
Add ginger and cook gently for a few minutes until very fragrant.
Add carrots and Brussels sprouts.
Drizzle with maple syrup and turn to coat well.
Add chicken stock, salt and pepper.
Bring to boil and cook, uncovered, until liquid evaporates and vegetables are glazed.
