Ginger Slices

Ingredients
  Soft butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (or as required)
  Eggs 2
  Molasses 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cake flour 4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs), sifted
  Soda 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger 3 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine butter, 1 cup sugar, eggs and molasses in mixing bowl.
Beat until well blended and fluffy.
Sift flour, soda, salt and ginger together into creamed mixture and blend very well.
Chill in bowl until mixture is firm enough to handle then shape into 2 rolls about 2 inches in diameter.
Wrap rolls in waxed paper and chill well.
Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Slice rolls of dough thin and put on ungreased cookie sheets.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
