Pear Poached with Honey Lemon and Ginger
|Clear honey||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated lemon rind||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Water||4 Fluid Ounce (120 Milliliter)|
|Pear||1 , peeled, cored and cut into quarters|
|Lemon rind twist||1|
1) In a pan, add the honey, lemon rind and juice, ginger and water and allow to boil.
2) Add the pear into the pan, and simmer covered for 15 min, until the pear is soft and place the pear on a small serving dish.
3) Boil and reduce the liquid in the pan to about 2 tbsps; pour over the pear and cool.
4) Garnish with the lemon and serve with cream.
