Old Fashioned Ginger Snaps

Ingredients
  Flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Soda 2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1 Teaspoon (candied ginger can be added, very good)
  Shortening 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Molasses 4 Tablespoon
Directions

Roll in balls.
Dip in sugar and cinnamon mix.
Bake at 350° about 15 minutes.
This recipe has been in one family over 100 years.
