Ginger Cream With Cinnamon
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dark molasses||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Cream of tartar||1 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
Cream butter and sugar well; add beaten eggs, molasses and the flour sifted with other dry ingredients alternately with sour cream and the cream of tartar.
Add enough more flour to make a soft dough.
Bake in a shallow greased pan at 350°.
Frost with plain icing and cut into bars.
