Ginger Crisps

Ingredients
  Shortening 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Molasses 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 4 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger 2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, molasses, beat well.
Add flour sifted with salt, soda and spices.
Mix till dough is easy to handle.
You can roll these thin for cookies, or flatten small balls.
Bake on greased cooky sheets 10 to 12 minutes at 375F(190C).
