Raisin Streusel

This Struzel is a wonderful recipe to serve to your family and friends. Sometimes I feel amazed about the ease at which I whip up this Struzel; it gives out so inviting that anyone would fall for it. Believe me, this Struzel is worth trying!
Ingredients
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Seedless raisins 1 Tablespoon
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

Sift flour, baking powder, and sugar into bowl.
Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives.
Add egg and enough milk to make fairly firm dough.
Add raisins; shape tablespoons of mixture into horseshoe shapes.
Drop into hot 360°F fat; fry until golden brown.
Drain well; roll in powdered sugar.
Eat hot or cold.
