Strawberry Bavarian Pie
|Strawberry flavor gelatin||3 Ounce (1 Package Of Four Serving Size Of Jell-0 Brand)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cold water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Strawberries||1 Pint, hulled and halved|
|Non dairy whipped topping||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs), thawed (From Cool Whip)|
|Baked 9 inch pie shell||1 , cooled|
Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water.
Add cold water.
Chill until thickened.
Arrange strawberries in bottom of pie shell.
With electric mixer at medium speed, beat thickened gelatin until fluffy, thick and about doubled in volume.
Blend in 1 cup of the whipped topping.
Chill until mixture mounds.
Spoon over berries in pie shell.
Chill about 4 hours.
Garnish with remaining whipped topping and additional berries, if desired.
