Beef With Sauerkraut

Ingredients
  Beef brisket 3 Pound
  Bacon fat 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Large, peeled, sliced
  Sauerkraut 2 Pound
  Boiling water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Caraway seeds 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Heat fat in pan.
Add onion; saute until lightly browned.
Put in meat; arrange sauerkraut on top.
Add boiling water; cover.
Simmer over low heat 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste and a few caraway seeds.
