Schaum Torte

The schaum torte is a baked torte prepared with egg whites and sugar and vinegar. With added vanilla for flavor, the schaum torte is baked and best served with slices of banana amd whipped cream topping.
Ingredients
  Egg whites 6
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Line two 8 inch layer pans with waxed paper so that it comes up over the edges do not grease pans.
Beat egg whites stiff, add sugar gradually then vinegar and vanilla, beating constantly.
Divide into the layer cake pans, and bake one hour or until pale brown in color at 275F.
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
Lift out by the edges of waxed paper and continue cooling on racks.
Peel off the paper.
Put layers together with a thick layer of sliced bananas.
Slice bananas on top and ice the whole cake with whipped cream.
