Bavarian Patties With Sauerkraut

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Large
  Applesauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dry bread crumbs 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Onion 1 Small, finely chopped
  Egg 1
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned sauerkraut 16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
Directions

Mix all ingredients except sauerkraut.
Shape mixture into 6 patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
Brown patties in large skillet over medium heat, turning once.
Drain off fat.
Spoon sauerkraut onto patties; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
