Savory Hamburg Balls
|Canned deviled ham||14 Ounce|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Cornflake crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Dry mushroom soup mix||1 1⁄4 Ounce|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Combine deviled ham with ground beef, cornflake crumbs, 1/2 cup milk and egg.
Form into small balls and saute in frying pan.
Remove balls from pan; set aside.
Blend dry mushroom soup into frying pan drippings; gradually stir in water and remaining milk.
Cook until sauce thickens and comes to a boil.
Cover; simmer for about 15 minutes.
