Bavarian Stew

The Bavarian Stew is a beef stew with a difference. Beef, beef broth and seasonings is all you need to prepare this yummy stew. Just check out the recipe of the rich tasting Bavarian Stew listed here.
Ingredients
  Lean beef 3 Pound (Top Sirloin Or Chuck Cubed)
  Onions 2 Large, sliced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Beef broth 1 Can (10 oz)
  Canned beer 12 Ounce
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Bay leaf 1
  Thyme 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
Directions

Dredge meat with flour.
Brown the cubes in two tablespoons vegetable oil.
Cook in Dutch oven or large electric frying pan.
Saute onions and garlic in same pot; stir in rest of seasonings, add beef broth, beer, and cover.
Cook for two hours.
Serve over noodles or rice.
Can be done ahead.
