Barbecued Frankfurters is a sumptuous side dish that is simply a joy to prepare and serve. My family loves this well flavored dish and I make it often for our weekend luncheons. Try this Barbecued Frankfurters. You will love it. Trust me!
  Onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Freshly ground black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Catsup 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garlic powder 1 Dash

Split frankfurters in half lengthwise; place, cut-side-down, in baking dish.
Cook onion in oil until tender.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
Pour over frankfurters.
Bake in 325°F toaster oven 15 minutes.
