German Chocolate Cheesecake
|German chocolate cake mix||18 Ounce|
|Shredded coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), softened|
|Cream cheese||16 Ounce, softened|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In large mixer bowl, blend cake mix, coconut, butter and 1 egg on low speed until mixture is crumbly.
Press very lightly into an ungreased baking pan, 13x8x2".
Beat cream cheese, 2 eggs, sugar and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
Spread over cake mixture.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Mix sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tbs.of vanilla until smooth.
Spread over cheesecake.
Refrigerate at least 8 hours.
Let sit at room temperature about 1/2 hour before cutting.
