Easy Wiener Schnitzel
|Veal round steak||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Have veal steak cut about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut off all fat and bone.
Beat egg with water.
Dip pieces of meat into egg mixture; bread well in crumbs.
Bread meat a few hours ahead; place in refrigerator.
Melt Crisco in frying pan; brown a few pieces of meat at a time.
Drain on paper towel.
After meat is browned, arrange in baking pan; bake in 325-degree oven about 30 minutes.
