Sauerkraut Appetizer makes the best bet to serve as the first course for dinner. Love this Sauerkraut Appetizer for the simple procedures involved and the flavor of the final brew.
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Green pepper||To Taste, chopped|
|Chopped celery||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sauerkraut||1 Quart, drained|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine onion, pepper, celery and sauer kraut.
Heat sugar and vinegar until dissolved.
Pour over sauerkraut mixture.
Let stand for 24 hours.
NOTE: May be stored in re frigerator until used.
