My spaghetti tastes awesome with this Sour-Creamy Sauerkraut ! Try this Sour-Creamy Sauerkraut with any other dish of your liking and tell me what you liked it best with!
  Butter/Margarine / oil 3 Tablespoon
  Onion 1
  Sauerkraut 1 Pound
  Ground black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Sour cream 4 Tablespoon

This is tasty enough to serve for company and easy enough that you will want to serve it often.
Melt shortening in medium skillet and lightly brown onion.
Add sauerkraut, stirring to mix, cover skillet.
Simmer for 1 hour.
Uncover pan.
Drain off excess liquid.
Add pepper and salt if needed.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
