German Peach Kuchen
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Can peach slices||11 Large, drained|
|Egg yolks||2 , beaten|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Sift flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder and salt together; cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Press firmly against bottom and side of lightly greased pan.
Arrange peaches evenly over crumbs.
Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over peaches.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
Blend egg yolks and sour cream.
Spoon over peaches.
Bake for 20 minutes longer or until golden brown.
Serve warm or chilled.
