Sour Cabbage

Ingredients
  Cabbage 1 Pound, shredded, cooked in usual way
  Bacon drippings 1 Ounce
  White vinegar 6 Tablespoon
  Ground nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Ground clove 1 Pinch
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Strain cabbage and keep it crisp.

MAKING
2. In a pan melt bacon fat.
3. Stir in vinegar, sugar and spices. Cook for 3 mins.
4. Add cabbage and reheat.

SERVING
5. Serve hot
