Banana Bavarian Pie

This simple Banana Bavarian Pie is just the way any chef would make it. Follow this extremely simple and quick way to make this Banana Bavarian Pie and WOW your friends and family!
Ingredients
  Melted butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Crushed chocolate cookie crumbs 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Tablespoon
  Cold water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Egg whites 2
  Mashed bananas 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Heavy cream 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Combine butter and cookie crumbs.
Reserve 1/3 cup of this mixture.
Press remaining cookie mixture into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
Soften gelatine in cold water; dissolve over hot water.
Beat egg whites until stiff; add gelatine slowly, beating until mixture stands in peaks.
Combine bananas, lemon juice, sugar and salt.
Fold in egg whites and whipped cream.
Pour mix- ture into chocolate cookie crust.
Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top of pie.
Chill until firm.
Makes one 9-inch pie.
