German Short Ribs
|Beef short ribs||3 1⁄2 Pound|
|Onions||2 Medium, thinly sliced|
|Dry red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chili sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||3 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1) In a slow cooker, add the ribs, salt, pepper, onions, wine, chili sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and chili powder; cook covered on LOW for about 6-8 hrs.
2) Dissolve the cornstarch in water and stir into the rib mixture; cook covered on HIGH for about 10-15 min or until thickened.
3) Spoon over the cooked wide noodles and serve immediately on a nice dish.
