German Skillet Supper
|Cabbage||1 Medium, cut into 6 wedges|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Polish kielbasa sausage||1 Pound, Cut into 6 pieces|
Fry bacon in skillet until crisp.
Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings; crumble bacon.
Bring reserved drippings, cabbage, onion, water and sugar to a boil in saucepan; reduce heat.
Cook, covered, over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add kielbasa; mix well.
Cook, covered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with bacon.
