Sauerkraut And Sausage Hot Pot
|Sauerkraut||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Onion||1 , thinly sliced|
|Salami||8 Ounce, sliced|
|Sour cream||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Paprika pepper||2 Teaspoon|
Dice the bacon.
Drain the sauerkraut.
Put the sauerkraut in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to the boil.
Simmer for 20 minutes, then drain well.
Put the bacon in another saucepan and heat until the fat runs.
Add the sugar cube and, when it has dissolved, add the onion.
Fry for 6-8 minutes, until the onion turns golden brown.
Stir in the sauerkraut and salami slices and cook for 5 minutes.
Mix together the sour cream, paprika, cornstarch and salt.
Add to the saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring well.
Simmer until slightly thickened, then serve hot with Spicy Texas Beans.
