|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Apples||3 , pared and sliced|
|Drippings||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Drained sauerkraut||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated potato||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Caraway seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1. Saute the onion and apples in the drippings.
2. Add to the sauerkraut with the water, sugar and salt. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes.
3. Add the grated potato and caraway seeds. Cook 5 minutes longer.
