Easy Barbecued Frankurters

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salad oil 1 Tablespoon
  Catsup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Prepared mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Frankfurters 1 Pound (10 Pieces)
  Frankfurter buns 5 , split
Directions

Cook onion in oil till tender; stir in next 6 ingredients, 1/2 cup water, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
Simmer, covered, 20 minutes.
Score franks diagonally at 1-inch intervals; add to sauce.
Simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
Serve over toasted frankfurter buns.
