Spareribs And Sauerkraut
|Spareribs||3 Pound, cut in 2 rib pieces|
|Canned sauerkraut||27 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Arrange ribs, rib ends down, in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
Bake, covered, at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes; pour off drippings.
Remove spareribs; combine sauerkraut, onions, marjoram and sugar in baking dish.
Arrange spareribs, browned side up, on top of sauerkraut mixture; season with salt and pepper.
Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until spareribs are tender.
