Best Frankfurter Kabobs
|Frankfurters||1 Pound, cut in 1-inch slices (8 to 10 nos.)|
|Sliced celery||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1-inch)|
|Sliced onion||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1-inch)|
|Cubed green pepper||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1-inch squares)|
|Soy sauce marinade||To Taste (1 recipe)|
Soak frankfurters and vegetables at room temperature for 3 hours in Soy-sauce Marinade : Combine 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup catsup, 1/4 cup salad oil, 1/4 cup vinegar, 1 tea spoon thyme, and 1 teaspoon prepared mustard.
Alternate the meat and vegetable slices on skewers.
Broil kabobs 5 minutes on each side, brushing occasionally with Soy-sauce Marinade.
