|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened|
|Prepared horseradish||2 Tablespoon|
|Finely chopped onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Poppy seed||2 Teaspoon|
|Rye bread slice||8|
|Boiled ham slice||4|
|Processed swiss cheese slice||4|
Combine first 4 ingredients; spread butter mixture on both sides of each bread slice.
Top each of 4 slices bread with 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese, then second slice of bread.
Brown on medium-hot griddle till cheese melts, about 10 minutes, turning once.
